EDINBURGH PSYCHOTHERAPY

ANXIETY COUNSELLING
As a psychotherapist and counsellor in Edinburgh, I regularly treat issues relating to symptoms of anxiety. Anxiety can be categorised as intense, persistent, and overwhelming worry or fear about everyday situations. These conditions may also involve sudden episodes of severe anxiety or terror, known as panic attacks, which typically peak within minutes. Such experiences can interfere with daily life, feel disproportionate to actual risks, and be difficult to manage. They may last for long periods, and individuals often avoid certain places or situations to prevent these feelings. Symptoms commonly begin in childhood or adolescence and can persist into adulthood.
